Buchsbaum to Run for 69th House District

Updated: Jun 12

I am excited to announce that I will be seeking the Republican nomination for State Representative for the 69th House District. State Representative Cindy Harrison has announced that she will retire at the end of the current term. I reached out to Representative Harrison prior to my announcement to offer her my congratulations on her retirement and to indicate my intentions to run for this seat.

It would be a great honor to represent the citizens of the 69th district to help build a more prosperous Connecticut. I have the professional experience, the record of government service, and the drive and ability to get things done. I will be a strong, common-sense voice in Hartford for the residents of the 69th district.

I am also thrilled to have received the endorsement of area legislators who represent towns within the 69th district. Thank you to State Representative David Labriola (131st House District), State Senator Eric Berthel (32nd Senate District), State Senator Steve Harding (30th Senate District), and State Representative Patrick Callahan (108th District) for your early support in this campaign. I look forward to working with each of you in Hartford.

I hope to earn the support of residents of Bridgewater, a portion of New Milford, Roxbury and Southbury in the months ahead.
